As of early 2013, we are still in the process of rebooting unto the new platform

If you want to keep track of the relaunch you can:

  1. Like us on Facebook
  2. Follow us on Twitter
  3. Send me (Kris) an e-mail and let me know that you'd like to join the new site when it is ready.

Once we are ready to relaunch, we will start spreading the word. Until then, expect silence to mean we are heads down coding. :) The forum is still open for active members, but don't expect a lot of activity here since meets are currently on hold.

This thread is to sign-up for the "March 7-9 Powerlifting Meet only".

For discussion/questions concerning this meet please post them in the discussion thread HERE

It is official! Our next meet will be a full powerlifting meet held AT YOUR GYM on the day of your choosing between MARCH 7-9th 2008! Please note that the deadline for lifter registration is February 15th at 11pm GMT; after this date, only judge sign-ups will be accepted.

To register for the meet, just post a short reply to this message. This implies that you:

  • HAVE READ AND ACCEPTED THE RULES
  • AFFIRM YOUR DRUG-FREE STATUS (again, see the rules)
  • REALLY AIM AT DOING THE MEET, not just thinking about it. Of course, injuries and life can happen, so you are naturally free to cancel your entry if needed.

** Also include which day you are wanting to lift on.
** 7th is on a Friday
** 8th a Saturday
** 9th a Sunday

You will be asked to provide further details on your participation closer to the meet.

If you are interested in judging, this is also the place to offer your services.

We also offer meet registering in the following languages:

See you on the virtual platform.

The STONE COUNTY SCHOOLS POWERLIFTING TEAM, composed of middle school and high school students will complete in this powerlifting meet on MARCH 7. We have made all the necessary arrangements, and look forward to a great meet.

The number of participants will be between 15-40 lifters, depending on the number of practices the participants make. If necessary, I can provide a list of lifters.

We are always DRUG FREE, as to set a good example for all lifters.

I am sending a seperate email declaring my personal entry, along with 3-5 other lifters, for a seperate meet on March 8 (Saturday) that will not involve kids.

I want to take part in the March 7-9th meet as well (my second).

I hope I get a passed bench press this time.

I'm lifting in the Icelandic Masters on Feb 23rd.  During the meet prep I squatted 175kg, benched 120kg and deadlifted 232.5kg, all raw.  I'm opening with 160-110-220.   I'm just over 90kg so I'll probably have to lift in the 100. LOL.  Lifetime drug-free of course, 45 years old.

Since the virtual meet doesn't allow knee wraps I'll probably go with 150-110-220 there.
