  • Virtual meet bench competition Did a competition at virtualmeet.net, 3 attempts at a max paused bench press. I lost a lot of strength over a 5 day backpacking trip, around 25-30 pounds :( But I'm gaining it back quick, couldnt do 240x1 paused when I got back, within 2 days I got this:) The newspaper is for the meet, they use it to confirm you lifted on that date.

Lyftare och domare kan anmäla sig i denna tråd. Fredag den 15:e februari kl 11.00 GMT är sista anmälningsdagen för lyftare. Efter detta datum kan endast domare anmäla sig. Alla lyftare bör senast den 22 februari 2008 ange vilket datum de tänker tävla (fredag, lördag eller söndag). Detta kan göras när man anmäler sig eller genom att redigera sin anmälan senare.

Just nu behöver vi 3 till 6 domare för denna tävling.

För att anmäla sig till denna tälving, posta endast ett kort svar i denna tråd. Detta antyder att du:

    * HAR LÄST OCH ACCEPTERAT REGLERNA (var medveten om att små ändringar i reglerna kan förekomma då reglerna är ett utkast under utveckling)
    * UNDERSTRYK DIN DOPINGFRIA STATUS (igen, se reglerna)
    * VERKLIGEN SIKTAR PÅ ATT GENOMFÖRA TÄVLINGEN, och inte bara tänker på att göra det. Självklart kan man bli sjuk och dra på sig skador. Då är det förstås inga problem att avanmäla sig.

I denna tråd görs endast anmälan till tävlingen, alla diskussioner rörande tävlingen hänvisas till kommentartråden.

Givetvis är det inte bara vi svenskar som skall tävla utan folk över hela världen, följ vilka som registrerat sig i de andra forumen:

Jag föregår med gott exempel och anmäler mig som förste man på det svenska forumet. Jag har läst reglerna (understatement of the year) och är som vanlig dopingfri.

Jag tänker lyfta lördagen den 8 mars.

En seg influensa i kombination med för hård träning gjorde sitt. Jag samlar domarpoäng i denna tävling istället och siktar om mot vårens/sommarens tävlingar. Glad

Hade tänkt anmäla mig, snackade med kristoffer på mail men p.g.a an skada i axeln har jag fått börja med lätt grundtränig igen. Men siktar på sommartävlingarna nu!

Hoppas ni får många anmälda.

Anmnälningstiden för tävlingen har nu gått ut för lyftarnas del, domaranmälningar är dock fortsättningsvis välkomna!

Den slutgiltiga listan över deltagare har nu publicerats. Tjugofyra lyftare, varav två kvinnor, ger sig under stången denna gång vilket är nytt rekord för stunden. Det kommer att bli en tävling att komma ihåg trots att antalet svenska lyftare i slutändan blev noll pga osäkerhet gällande Svenska Styrkelyftförbundets inställning våra tävlingar. Vi är i kontakt med SSF och närmare information om detta kommer att publiceras så fort vi vet exakt vad som gäller.

Tävlingsresultaten är ute! Den editerade meet videon finns som vanligt också på YouTube.

Mycket hände på rankingsidan som en följd av tävlingen...  Glad
