As of early 2013, we are still in the process of rebooting unto the new platform

If you want to keep track of the relaunch you can:

  1. Like us on Facebook
  2. Follow us on Twitter
  3. Send me (Kris) an e-mail and let me know that you'd like to join the new site when it is ready.

Once we are ready to relaunch, we will start spreading the word. Until then, expect silence to mean we are heads down coding. :) The forum is still open for active members, but don't expect a lot of activity here since meets are currently on hold.

One lifter has yet to upload, but the 24 hour upload deadline is about to expire so the meet can soon be moved to the judges.

I posted an article about my experience at Virtual Meet at Straight to the Bar http://www.straighttothebar.co.../ready_for_a_virtual_meet.html. Hope it drums up some energy and brings in more lifters!

I've said so elsewhere already, but that's one amazing article Kat wrote. Smiley

The meet is now with the judges! The usual progress meter can be found above this forum ^^^^^

Judging complete! All three of us converged at the same time, the judging was finished within a time span of about half an hour. That's a first. Smiley

A HUGE THANKS to Ron and Christine for taking the time.

Expect the meet results to be out within about two hours.

Hey folks,

The deadlift discussion on this thread was starting to get really interesting with information that will be valuable to others in the future. Therefore I moved the discussion to the Powerlifting Training section.

Deadlift tips

Keep it up! Smiley

Hey Thomas, better later than never, right? Wink Welcome!

You probably saw the meet schedule already? There's a bench weekend coming up on November 7-9th and a full powerlifting meet on December 5-7th. This upcoming week, I will also publish my proposal for the 2009 meet schedule. So yeah, there's no shortage of meets, but this one came and went. We also have our first weightlifting meet underway as we speak.

Anyway, if you have any questions or suggestions, feel warmly welcome to ask here on the forum. Good to see more Britons joining the game!
