As of early 2013, we are still in the process of rebooting unto the new platform

If you want to keep track of the relaunch you can:

  1. Like us on Facebook
  2. Follow us on Twitter
  3. Send me (Kris) an e-mail and let me know that you'd like to join the new site when it is ready.

Once we are ready to relaunch, we will start spreading the word. Until then, expect silence to mean we are heads down coding. :) The forum is still open for active members, but don't expect a lot of activity here since meets are currently on hold.

Snatches
115 1x8 sets

Snatch Grip Deadlifts
245 1x8 sets

All I had time for.  Been a chorehorse all day and went to a fine calamari dinner with my brother-in-law and my wife's sister.  I'll finish the presses and pullups tomorrow.

Debating whether to kick the weight up or start doing doubles.  Original plan was 8 doubles and then 8 triples and then increase while going back to singles, but I'm itching to boost the poundage.

Upper back is getting thicker (can feel it in my shirts) but the legs and behind are not...yet.

C&J
165 1x8 sets

Squats (low bar)
225 2x1 set
245 1x2 sets
265 1x2 sets
275 1x2 sets (belt on)
295 1x2 sets

Incline BP (3sec pause)
165 1x8 sets

T-bar Chest supported rows
1 plate + quarter x8
2 plates x5
3 plates 3x4 sets
3 plates + dime 3x2sets
3 plates + quarter 3x1,2x1

Did this at lunch hour.  Kept the rest periods shorter than usual since I didn't want to take a whole bunch of time  and wanted a shower after.  Squats felt really good and I may settle on 265 or 275 for the next round.  Except for the time compression nothing felt too difficult.

Snatches
115 2x4sets,

Clean and Press

135 1x5 sets

Snatch grip DL
245 2x2
245 1x6 sets

DB Curls
35's 8x2 sets

Did this tonight because there will be no time tomorrow.  Curls hurt my wrists.  Too much time on the keyboard and not enough in the gym.

Squats are really hurting, but not enough to stop doing them. Everything else is coming along nicely. New valeo belt supports in just the right places for the quick lifts. Most solid 150 I ever snatched.

200 c&J was not hard.  The doubles were.
Went light on squats and GMs and worked on form and on making them pop.

Meh on the presses - shoulders feel like they needed higher reps today.

Bad day for snatches.  I've been waiting 2 days between sessions and have been fully recovering. Only waited one day and I can feel the difference.  I was completely out of position on most of the heavier snatches until the last 2 doubles.  Squats are getting snappier at 255 though. Good learning session.  I'm going to add sets @135 and above until form improves, no maxes for a bit.

185 2x3

Front Squats
215x3
220 3x2

Incline BP
175 x3

GMs
175 8x2

Good session tonight.  Meant to do 155 for GMs, but I forgot to take the 10's off after finishing incline presses.  They didn't feel too bad so I left the 10's on for another set.  Sice it was a 40lb jump from last time I stopped there.

205 C&J pretty much floated up tonight.  No stress at all.  Bumped up front squat weight since recovering the 205 clean was no problem.

Snatches
75,95,115 1x3
135,140,145,150X0, 1x2
155x0,0
135 2x1

Squats
255 3x3

OHP from rack
135x8 (paused at shldrs)
155 3x2

Snatches gassed me out.  Tried to max - couldn't help myself.  Need to do some OHSq and snatch balances to beef up the back of my shoulders.  The body has a definite reluctance to ducking under the weight to catch it.

Clean & Jerk
75,95,115x3
135,155x2
175,195,207.5x1
185x2,1,1,1,1
165xx2,2

1-1/2 presses
115x8,7

1/2 press (top)
115x10

Front Squat
225 3x2 (narrow stance)
225x3 (wider - these felt stronger, but not as deep)

207.5 CJ was SOLID.  getting close to PR territory.  FS was harder tonight, since I basically did 17+ FS before them.  More in the strength bucket - that's all.  The 1-1/2 presses make all the little tiny shoulder muscles burn.  Think I'll keep 'em in the rotation.

Clean and Push Press
135x5
150x3
165x3
180x2
197.5x1
185 2x3 sets

Squats
235x3
255 3x2
255x3 + 3 Jumps

Good session. Snatches @ 135 are getting easier. 155 was better but I caught it too high and my right shoulder was not extended.

Keeping the shoulders stiff on push presses, making the "platform." This will come in handy for jerks.

Squats are getting bouncier @ 255. I'm still learning how to squat this way. Again.

Clean and Power Jerk
135x1+3 jerks
155x1+2 jerks
175x1+2 jerks
190x1
205x1
210x1 (match PR)
http://youtu.be/dfrIvDrSNKI
(190x1+2 jerks) x 2
175x2,2

Front Squats
225 3x3

Incline DB press
75's 8x2

Bounce FS (partials)
285 x 6

excellent session. 210 CJ was easy, from the clean to the jerk. moved FS up to second movement and they went better. Shoulders are feeling a bit overdone so I opted for an exercise with more degrees of freedom and did more reps. I'm not as strong as I was on DB incline press, but I remember a time when I couldn't do three on a flat bench so I'm okay with it for now. Did the FS partials mainly to firm up my platform for launching the jerk. I'm a bit soft in the shoulders.
