As of early 2013, we are still in the process of rebooting unto the new platform

If you want to keep track of the relaunch you can:

  1. Like us on Facebook

  3. Send me (Kris) an e-mail and let me know that you'd like to join the new site when it is ready.

Once we are ready to relaunch, we will start spreading the word. Until then, expect silence to mean we are heads down coding. :) The forum is still open for active members, but don't expect a lot of activity here since meets are currently on hold.

BW=180

Clean and Press
barx15
115x5
135x5
155x3 (it was a hard triple, too)
170x1,1
175x1
180x1
185xgot out in front of me

Front Squat
185x3
205x3
225x3
245x1
265x1

Sumo DL
315x3
365 3x3

Overhead Close grip Press
135x5
145 5x2 sets

Pullups
BWx5 to sternum
+50 5x2 sets

Ez Bar Kerls
105x5
115x5

Wanted to train today but felt depleted still from the meet. Stopped before maxes (mostly). Gotta get used to sumos again. First pulls sucked, but third set's reps were fast.

Push Press from the rack
115x5
145x5
165x3
185x3
195x2
175x3

Power Cleans
135x5
185x3
195x3
205 1x3 sets

High Bar Jump squats
225 3x3

Pendlay rows
225 8x2

Incline DB press
75 8x2

Lower back is freaking tired. Did things that required power rather than slow application of force. Got my toes to leave the floor on jump squats. Cleans need work again - I don't need to pull the bar so high, I just need to learn to get under it at the right height.

BW 184

Squat Clean and Press
115x3
135x3
155x2
170 1x7 sets

Front squats
185x3
205x3
225x3
245x2
265x2 (belt)
275x1
285xfail

Snatch High pulls
275x5,5 (in outstandingly crappy form)

1-arm BB press (rt)
45x5
65x5
75x3
85x0,1
70x5

Felt really off today. Hitting reasonable numbers but they feel harder to get than they should. I think my expectations are really high is all.

Squat clean and press: Having trouble making the arm transition from clean receiving position to press position.

Front squat - may need to work reps on these rather than singles.

Snatch grip high pulls: total clusterf***. Do these before strength work, since they are explosive.

Squats
225x5

325 1x5 sets (paused these too)

Deadlift
315x3
405 1x5 sets (starting to hit a groove.  Not fast, but getting easier)

275x3
325 1x5 sets (paused)  very fast today

Bench Press
135x8

225x1,1,3  (paused)  also very fast today

Deadlift
315x5

135x5
160x3,5  Not too hard at all

Cheat Rows

Pullups

Debating whether to bump by 5 on upper body and 10 on lower or keep it to 2.5 and 5 lbs respectively as planned.  Today was almost ridiculously easy.  Got sweaty but no rep was hard.

2010-9-7

Had to squeeze this in during son's soccer practice, so I condensed the sets into reps.  Didn't push it though and stopped the sets when the reps slowed

Clean and Press
90x8
135x5
165x3,2

Squats
225x5
275x3
330x5  (no strain at all)

Bench Press
DB w/u
70's x8
90's x3
BB
230x1,1,1,2

Deadlift
315x5
410x3,2

Cheat Rows
250x5

Pullups
BW+65x5

Arm swole activities
some x some

Less than an hour today, dripping wet but not too tired.  Getting more used to the work, I think.  Only hard thing was bench.  I can MP after BP but the reverse doesn't seem to work so well for me.

2010-9-8

BP
barx20
135x8
185x5
230 1x5 sets (3 count pause)

Squats
135x8
225x5
275x3
330 1x5 (5 count pause)

Deadlifts
315x5
410 1x5 sets

Clean and Press
135x5
165 1x5 sets

Cheat Rows
250 2x3 sets

Pullups
BW+65 3x3 sets

Bench feels slow right off the chest and then it blows right up. Strange. C&P's felt easier than Monday. Squats are super easy right now. The lighter weights on squats are actually harder than the heavy sets.
