As of early 2013, we are still in the process of rebooting unto the new platform

If you want to keep track of the relaunch you can:

  1. Like us on Facebook
  2. Follow us on Twitter
  3. Send me (Kris) an e-mail and let me know that you'd like to join the new site when it is ready.

Once we are ready to relaunch, we will start spreading the word. Until then, expect silence to mean we are heads down coding. :) The forum is still open for active members, but don't expect a lot of activity here since meets are currently on hold.

Nothing as far as I know. It's listed among the upcoming meets on the meet page and the registration will open in early November. So business as usual. Did you mistake the 2009 proposal for 2008 or are we missing the meet in some discussion somewhere?

I've got some people that want to register and you can't click on to the meet. They're chompin' at the bit. They just finished rowing season and now they need a short term goal to shoot for with their off-season weight training. These meets should keep them motivated for the entire winter. The Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships are the beginning of Feb. and the Provincial Indoor Rowing Championships are early March. By the time the ice is off the lake in the Spring they should be in great shape for rowing.

Ah, I see. I usually don't open the meet registration until about a month before the meet to keep the number of drop-outs smaller. The meet registration will eventually be fully automatized so you can see when registration is available and sign-up for an automated reminder, but for now it's pretty low-tech.

I'll open the meet registration thread tomorrow then. Smiley Thanks for letting me know.

I should also add that this kind of feedback is worth its weight in gold. This points to a clear lack of information that needs to be rectified. So thanks! Smiley
