As of early 2013, we are still in the process of rebooting unto the new platform

If you want to keep track of the relaunch you can:

  1. Like us on Facebook
  2. Follow us on Twitter
  3. Send me (Kris) an e-mail and let me know that you'd like to join the new site when it is ready.

Once we are ready to relaunch, we will start spreading the word. Until then, expect silence to mean we are heads down coding. :) The forum is still open for active members, but don't expect a lot of activity here since meets are currently on hold.

With a little help from my friend the Easter Bunny, all lifters should now find the usual lifter info tucked neatly into their inbox (or spam boxes in a worst case scenario). The final line up has also been posted.

We are still lacking judges for this meet. If anyone is interested, please contact me. Otherwise I'll do the usual round to find three judges.

Sorry to say I'm sitting this one out. I spent the week down on the couch with a nasty virus. I'm not recovered enough to lift. Good luck everyone, especially Christine, now the sole female. Get it, grrrl!

Kat, the comma after your link had sneaked into the link itself, took the liberty of fixing that so the link works (and a good read it was too with the quite unexpected silver lining...).

I'm hoping I can beat it next meet with some better weather...  It was threatening rain the whole time and I ended up rushing my lifting a bit.

Just a quick technical thought on the Avatar, it would be nice if the size limitations was shown next to the upload box on the profile edit page.  After failing to upload twice I downloaded your avatar and opened it up to see how big it was.

Meet update: we had a bit of a drop out this time around as two lifters called in sick and four lifters failed to show up. We have two judges now and will probably have the third one in quite short order, so the meet should enter the judging phase soon. With only three lifters in the meet, it may be a quick affair, but as usual the judges will have seven days to complete the judging.

The meet will go into the judging phase tomorrow Friday. It turned out that there was some communication problems in regard to some of the dropped out lifters and my inquiry into the issue hit the spam folder, but the happy upshot of it is that we actually have five accepted lifters in the meet now.  Smiley

The meet is now with the judges, namely Jamie Jamieson (Canada) and Brent Kim (USA) who once again come to the rescue. Thanks guys! The third judge will jump into the mix as soon as we have one. Smiley

The lifter line-up has also been updated.
