You can now subscribe to the community to be notified of new content via a feed or a daily e-mail digest. This means that new content will be delivered to your door as it appears.
You can elect to be notified of all public posts in the community or just the announcements. Announcements only are great if you don't care for the general discussion, but do want to be notified when something major happens, such as a meet or rule change being announced.
Note that boards not available to
Guests and Regular members, such as the
After Meet Talk board, have their own feeds for technical reasons. All protected boards contain further information on how to include them in your subscription.
1. Subscribing via feedNews aggregators (aka feed readers) are a convenient means to check for new content at any number of web sites without having to actually visit any of them. This works by subscribing to a so-called feed at every site which simply lists all new content in chronological order. The aggregator then combines all new content to create your 'personal headlines'. An example of a free online news aggregator is
Bloglines. Our RSS/Atom compatible feeds should work with any feed reader.

The digest is only sent out if there actually is new content. If you are not an avid feed reader, this is the way to go. Old-fashioned but highly effective. Sign up happens via a service called FeedBurner, so you will be redirected away from Virtualmeet.net when you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
