Title: Reddit Virtual Powerlifting Meet Post by: kris on February 10, 2012, 09:42:07 pm A to me unknown forum is organizing a virtual powerlifting meet (http://www.asocietyreborn.com/showthread.php?1545-Reddit-Virtual-Powerlifting-Meet) on Reddit, all RAW. A bunch of entries (http://www.reddit.com/r/weightroomcontests) have already been submitted via YouTube. They have prizes sponsored by Titan and lifts are judged using the Wilks formula. The right spirit is definitively there, but after having seen some of the entries I fear the judges will have a hard time due to the somewhat vague rules and video taping guidelines unless they take a very liberal line. But it's exciting to watch and I'm already looking forward to seeing the results. :)
It is always exciting to see others experimenting with virtualmeets out there in cyberspace. Has anyone seen any other action out there of late?
