Title: Registration deadline for September 2007 meet Post by: kris on August 03, 2007, 10:44:28 pm The last opportunity to register for the full meet on September 7-9th, 2007 (http://virtualmeet.net/community/forum/meet-talk/40/0/) is August 17th at 11pm GMT. This is in accordance with the registration deadline recommended by the current rule draft (http://virtualmeet.net/meets/rules/). Among other things, this serves the purpose of locking the amount of participants in time to arrange for enough judges. Judges may continue to sign up after this date, but no further lifter registrations will be accepted.
When we are one week out from the deadline, an e-mail will be sent out to all forum members to give those who may be waivering or are unaware of this deadline a final reminder. Currently, twelve lifters and one judge have signed up for the meet. Looks like we are going to have a good party! Signed-up lifters will receive more information on choosing a lifting date etc. as we approach the meet. The deadline has passed. Three women and fourteen men signed up! This is not counting the three who, for various good reasons, had to pull out. We are still looking for two more judges to join Stinn (http://virtualmeet.net/stinn/), e-mail kris@virtualmeet.net if you are interested! The deadline to submit the lifting date is Sunday, August 26th.

Unfortunately, both Ryan Rigdon and Michael Christian had to pull out. However, Ryan is still involved as a judge; now we only need one more and we're golden.
Many lifters have yet to confirm what date they will be lifting on. One lifter is yet to confirm his lifting date, but from the looks of it, seven of the original twenty lifters have had to pull out for various reasons. Lifting will take place on Friday and Saturday, nobody is set to lift on Sunday. We still need one more judge.
Lifters, please check that you are listed under the correct day. I will get in touch with you via e-mail with the details on how to submit your video a few days before the meet. On a brighter note, he volunteered to judge instead. This means we have all the judges we need and are set to rumba. Heal up Tim and thanks again!
