Title: New User Registration Post by: Fahs on June 30, 2009, 05:13:36 am My girlfriend is trying to register with the site and can't do it and I was wondering if someone could help.
Specifically: She recieved the activation email, clicked on the link, tried to login to the page the link connected to, and was sent to a white screen error page saying "Your email address needs to be validated before you can login". She tried entering the activation code into the website from the link and has tried having the activation email re-sent to her, and re-clicking the link, but nothing is working. Anyone know what's going on and how she can register?? (She tried creating an account a 2nd time and was told she cannot regiser two accounts from the same computer so it seems like the site knows she registered but she still can't logon...) For what it is worth, I already have a full replacement for the current registration system but due to dependencies on other site upgrades I am not quite ready to release it. Meanwhile. if anyone else experiences any problems registering, let me know and I'll take care of it ASAP. |
