The deadline for lifters to sign up is Friday July 4th at 11pm GMT; after this date, only judge sign-ups will be accepted. To register for the meet, just post a short reply to this message. This implies that you:
Also include which day you want to lift on. This day can be changed up until the sign-up deadline. ** 25th is on a Friday ** 26th a Saturday ** 27th a Sunday Further instructions on how to submit the video footage etc. will be sent out via e-mail to all participants after the sign-up deadline has passed. Those who wish to judge should also sign-up in this thread. To make sure that you don't forget anything essential, we highly recommend using the checklist (http://virtualmeet.net/docs/meet_checklist.pdf) as a supplement to the rules (http://virtualmeet.net/meets/rules/). PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP: Quote Any participants affiliated with the IPF should be forewarned that participating in Virtualmeet competitions could result in sanctions on said lifter. Thus, any lifter affiliated with the IPF that decides to lift in a Virtualmeet competition, do so at their own risk. We are still awaiting word from the IPF Disciplinary Committee on IPF affiliated lifters and Virtualmeet participation. We will keep everyone informed when a decision is reached. I'm in as a judge if you need me. Experience as a lifter: 7 NASA meets, most done in Kinross Prison (I was a visitor; 5 were done with certified judges, 2 done by inmates, which were tougher in my opinion.) 3 AAPF meets with official judges. Handler at numerous other meets, including 2005 APF Nationals. I've also been head referee at local meets we've hosted, as well as 3 Strongman events.
